Q: Do I need to live in the US to apply?
A: Nope! You can live anywhere on planet Earth. We love having diversity in the locations of our team members and we'd love to have a few more international members. However, please be aware that location may affect your ability to participate in some of the perks of CT membership (due to time zone differences, shipping costs, sponsored content availability, etc.).
Q: Do I need a big following on Instagram or be a blogger/influencer to apply?
A: Nope! We'd love to help you grow your social media following, find your voice, and perfect the art of storytelling along the way, but you don't need to have any of those things to apply!
Q: What skills or qualifications do I need to become a CT member?
A: You need to be a parent that knows/appreciates the importance of getting kids outside and wants to inspire others to get out there and have adventures! Writing (English proficiency) and photography skills are highly recommended. We'll teach you the rest (Wordpress, writing style, SEO, photography, pitching, sponsored work, etc.)
Q: What is the time commitment and how long would I be a CT member?
A: Each season, CT members write one comprehensive post for our website. Posts are usually 800+ words and contain 8-20 original photos. It's hard to say how long it takes to write/photograph each post - it'll depend on the topic, writer, research, etc. We ask that CT members commit to writing for a year (4 posts total). In addition, we offer CT members coworking sessions and mastermind meetings (both to work on your own projects), as well as opportunities to participate in RWMC projects and campaigns (all voluntary). The time you commit is up to you, but the more you invest, the more you'll gain!
