🌲✨ Montana, you were magic!

From llama trekking to peaceful hikes and fly fishing, each day was a reminder that moms deserve time for adventure, too. It was a chance to breathe deeply, explore freely, and remember what I love about the wild.

The best part? I came back home with stories, fresh energy, and new ideas for adventures with my kids.

Sometimes a break is exactly what we need to reconnect with who we are—and what we want to bring home to our families.

For anyone planning a Montana getaway, I couldn’t recommend it enough! I will be back asap, with the kids in tow!

Here at Run Wild My Child, we’re not anti-screen…we’re pro-outside. It’s not an either or.

There’s no judgment here for how you balance screen time with outdoor time. Every family has different needs, different routines, and different seasons of life. We’re here to support, not shame.

We want to help parents prioritize getting their kids outside and (hopefully) raise kids who would rather be outdoors than inside on a screen. But screens aren’t evil…and neither are parents who allow screens or kids who use them.

Giving your child an occasional screen doesn’t make you any less of an outdoor-loving parent!

Did you know that in my city (St. Louis), trick-or-treaters have to earn their candy by telling a joke?! 👻

When I first moved to St. Louis, this tradition totally caught me off guard, but now it’s one of my favorite things about this spooky season! 🤪

There’s nothing cuter than little kids telling jokes they don’t understand or funnier than big kids dropping wildly inappropriate jokes (or terrible dad jokes). 😂 It’s Halloween gold!
